Most of the time when I travel it is for work. Work revolves around food. I often do not look beyond the kitchen and the dining room. During my most recent trip to San Francisco, I had the opportunity to leave the kitchen and spend some time not cooking. I might have spent the time with food folks talking about food. I was rewarded by seeing and experiencing life beyond the kitchen doors. The walk around the Golden Gate Bridge was windswept and awe-inspiring.
