This morning we used a frittata as a refrigerator recycling bin. Fried rice is usually our go-to dish for this, a vehicle for tasty odds and ends meant to be repurposed into a delicious meal. Today the frittata and the fried rice were united. I always put extra eggs in our fried rice and this morning I went slightly overboard. As I was cooking the mixture, it formed a beautiful round that needed very little assistance to become a frittata. Now comes the fun part of converting this catch-all into a new creative platform.
