We love biscuits with bacon. Unfortunately, we cannot crush a single batch of them. For too long, we have not bothered turning day-old biscuits into something useful. Instead, they often die the death of forgotten foodstuffs. Recently, Aki was smart enough to take the day-old biscuits and grind them up with some bacon. They became the tastiest breadcrumbs. They are delicious broiled on top of our Mac and Cheese. We look forward to using them baked on fish and finishing pressure-cooked cassoulet.
