The idea of a carrot cake doughnut has been on our doughnut list for several years. We finally put the pieces together to make it happen. We make our glaze with reduced carrot juice. We make the crumbs with roasted doughnuts, white chocolate, and carrot cake spices. For our first incarnation, we used our vanilla yeasted doughnut as the base.
