I was standing in line at BJ’s and there was a display of books right next to me. Of course, I went for the only cookbook in the group. It was Craft Burgers and Crazy Shakes from Black Tap by Joe Isidori. I’ve never been there (it’s in NYC), but now I’m intrigued. I started reading the essay pictured above and I got sucked right into the book. Oddly, I had just been talking about how good frozen fries are so much better than bad hand-cut fries, so I was in exactly the right mindset to receive this. If you like it too, go check out the book. Good writing should always be appreciated.
