At our table, anyway. We missed the very first crop at our local farm; this is from their second round of picking. It was incredibly sweet, juicy, and delicious. It’s nice to know we have several more weeks of this bounty to look forward to. The first batch, okay, the first few batches, are always simply steamed with butter and salt on the side for those who want them. We just revel in the flavor of the fresh corn. Later on, we’ll start tinkering. For now, it’s time to savor the summer season.
