I have been frustrated with the clamping system on our pasta machine. It only fits certain countertops, it is not very friendly to the bottom of the counter/table, and it is slow to put in place. It took way too many years for me to look into the arena of woodworking to find a better clamp. These quick-release, single-handed clamps are easy to use and, because they are padded, do no damage to the counter. I was able to angle the clamps outwards to facilitate my full range of motion for the pasta machine crank. I am no longer inhibited by how to keep our pasta machine in place. That means more pasta more often in our world.
