We are in the thick of transporting Curiosity Doughnuts to Philadelphia for the day, Wednesday, October 19. We will be preparing doughnuts and pretzel-crusted fried chicken at Nick Elmi’s second restaurant, ITV. For the occasion and the space, we have prepared a few new additions. The first is that our pretzel-crusted fried chicken will be done sandwich style with its cherry pepper caramel sauce and the new addition of smoked Thousand Island dressing. The other additions are modifications of our Bourbon Caramel sauce. We upped the alcohol in the sauces to create intense, slightly boozy dipping sauces for those in the mood for Drunken Doughnuts. We have made Root, Snap, and Four Roses drunken caramels to complement the doughnuts, or just dip your fingers into and consume.
