Our favorite sparkling cocktail, reminiscent of all those scenes in the movie Moonstruck, consists of a sugar cube moistened with a few drops of Fee Brothers rhubarb bitters in a champagne glass, the prettiest one you own, and filled with sparkling wine. It’s budget-friendly (even for a crowd), festive, and always delicious. As you sip and savor both the wine and the company, remember that great new beginnings hinge on remembering what came before.
