During a whole lamb workshop, we were working on utilizing the whole animal. One of the things we played with was using the bones. Here we have two hip bones presented in different ways. The first was soaked in hydrogen peroxide to bleach it. The second bone was charred into a deep ebony. Placing the two bones side by side, we were struck by how beautiful they were and by how the different colors highlighted unique characteristics. There is beauty to be found in contrasts within similarities.
