Their striking glow drew us in. The small druplets and rose aroma sealed the purchase. We had plans for making cakes, jellies, and sauces. Instead, we just ate them berry by berry, bite by bite, thinking of what we wanted to do and enjoying the fact that we could just enjoy the fruit. Next time, with these new memories in hand, we may make something. And then again, we might just sit back and eat the pints of fruit in front of us.
