We are really excited to be teaching two hands-on classes at Astor Center on October 18. These classes are each three hours in length, limited to 14 participants and will allow everyone to get their hands dirty. The first class, from 10 am to 1 pm, will center around Activa products, which utilize transglutaminase, an ingredient that is now a staple in our kitchen and continues to reveal new possibilities on a daily basis. The second class is from 3 pm to 6 pm and will revolve around Methocel products, which have been used for creating hot gels and whipped toppings. We will start there and then move into other arenas with this incredibly functional ingredient. A ten percent discount for our readers is offered for each class with their respective codes: ACTIVA and METHOCEL.
