We arrived in NYC late on Saturday. We had arranged for the last couple of posts to be published while we were traveling, so there wouldn’t be a gap. We really try to make sure that we post something every day, but… well, you know how it goes, the best-laid plans of mice and men… Sunday morning, Alex woke up sick as a dog. By mid-afternoon, I had a borderline migraine, and the internet was not cooperating with me at all. I couldn’t get the connection to work no matter what I tried. Thirty-six hours in a car with two dogs and a cat can drain the life out of you, and I guess our bodies were telling us both we needed a day of recovery. But it’s a brand new day, we’re feeling fine, and we’ve worked out our internet issues. We just wanted to post a brief note to keep everyone apprised of the situation, and we’ll be back later today with more food!
