We have had the pleasure of receiving both positive and negative feedback on our website. In either case, it has allowed us to think in new directions and further our own culinary development. Interaction with others enables us to formulate and put into practice our ideas rather than just talking about them. The only way in which we are truly able to develop is by engaging our minds. The key for me is to look everywhere and try as much as possible in order to get a mental workout. One difficulty I have is getting stuck in a particular pattern or mindset. If I am able to notice a rut before it is too deep, then I am able to look elsewhere and find new challenges. In fact, as I write, I have come to realize that in publishing a Digital Notebook, we are then responsible for our thoughts and their derivations. In other words, our writing and picture-taking is the result of needing to engage our minds. Each day, something influences us, and we are able to reflect and learn from it while also sharing the experience with others who will eventually engage their minds. Therefore, we must thank those of you who read and visit our site. These interactions engage our thoughts and push us to look deeper into our culinary escapades and fine-tune our endeavors.
