We put the toffee crumbs to action at the shop. I put the first sprinkling on our custard. They added a sweet caramel crunch to the rich tangy vanilla-laden swirls. The second was an idea I had been craving: banoffee. To make it happen, we topped our super cake doughnuts with a banana glaze and a heavy sprinkling of the crumbs.
