We had the pleasure of trying Manni Olive Oil at Per Se when we were in New York. After tasting this incredible oil—there are actually two—we knew we needed to procure it and spread the word; actually the taste. After searching the web, not too difficult, we found the olive oil with its important history. We were pulled into the world of olive oil and quickly ordered some for our restaurant, Keyah Grande. However, in ordering ingredients from Italy, our current known source, the time of arrival was, for me, up in the air. I should not have worried or fretted. Actually, I didn’t; I just eagerly anticipated the arrival of the oil. Well, the oil arrived yesterday and our experience continued. The packaging, yes, a box and leaflets, carries the message of an oil with a pulse. Furthermore, the oils are continuously tested, and these tests may be checked at the Manni website. Yes, we get to follow the life of an oil; pretty cool. Our uses for the oil are in development, bouncing around our sleepless minds, searching for a means to best share the experience and really the pulse of a marvelous ingredient.
